I'm dreading the mistakes I'm eventually going to make. I made a little one today - ha, nothing too terrible. I just asked a girl if the watch she was holding was her boyfriend's, because it was big. It wasn't - it was her watch. I think I might have embarrassed her a bit. I know some of my students don't have tons of cash, so maybe she can't get a better fitting watch. (Ha, my watch is too big for me as well. My problem is that I'm lazy, not unable to buy a fitting watch.) Or maybe she just bought a big watch on purpose? But I don't think so.
Ooooops. I apologized for the mistake, of course, but nothing can really be done. She and her friend laughed about it for a while - hopefully she thinks I'm an idiot instead of feeling badly about herself.

Lol, the best thing is to laugh about your mistakes after =) All part of the experience and who knows maybe it IS a weird trend with Korean teen girls??
