Two things that I would want to know about if I were my friend / family member:
The Apartment and The Teaching
I don't have time right now to do either subject justice, alas! So, please accept these paltry few sentences for now, and after the weekend I'll have so much more ready for your reading pleasure.
The Apartment is pretty dece, yo. I love the heated floor and the and the hot water - I get so much hot water. Man, after my last apartment, I really appreciate things like that. The floor is sweet - all you do is turn up your thermostat, and hot water runs under the floor. The wood gets warm, and then eventually, the air gets warm. It's a slow but comforting process. I think it makes a lot more sense for people that actually sleep on the floor - with a bed, the system is a little less efficient. Oh well! I personally would like to get rid of the bed and go with floor style slumber, but I don't think I'm allowed, ha. The bed is a permanent feature. And it's springtastic! Metal springs. Ouch. I think I'll get a mattress topper of some sort.
And that's it? I told you there would only be "paltry sentences." More later, I promise.

You're alive!! And Heated floors!! XD double awesome! I have always wondered about the heated floors! must be really nice because it's not like it's a whole house you have to wait for it to heat up. And hot water, yeah - sounds great. What is the weather like in Seoul? Lol... springtastic. Whelmed huh? I guess that still wouldn't be quite equivalent of the word normal. I'm glad you got your internet up and running! Were you able to pick from an awesome variety of cell phones there yet?? What did you eat? =) Can't wait to hear more - at your own pace though. Love you!
ReplyDeleteThe weather is variable -- last week, it snowed! The past few days have been cloudy - the "yellow fog" is here and I am kind of creeped by the idea that I'm probably inhaling fun mercury from China. Yuck. Maybe I should wear a mask? Though maybe if you stay inside it isn't so bad. I think it also rained - yeah, it rained yesterday evening, and this morning.
ReplyDeleteInternet! Ack, I am still on the school net, but am very happy to have it. I am internet-less at my abode, though, so if it's after or before work, or on the weekend ... then I'm disconnected from the world. I hope to get connected within the next two weeks.
No cell yet! Soon! Food updates coming, ha.
You need to bring a little tree around so you can suck in it's oxygen. lol
