It's been a little yellowish gray outside lately. The yellow dust is here, and it's kind of a pain. First of all, it's ugly. The picture I've posted for your viewing pleasure was taken sometime in the afternoon and it had been that dark all day long. (Ha, sorry, the picture was taken in the subway - I'll try to get some without a window in the way.)
After the ugly factor comes the health risks - I'm pretty sure it's not good to breath air you can see. Yesterday the moon was a hazy orange instead of the white it had been the day before. This stuff comes and goes, it seems. I don't really know what to do about it myself. I stay in on really bad days, and the other day while I sat outside waiting for someone, I wore a mask. I think I'm going to get an air purifier for my tiny apartment, both for the dust and pollution.
Wow.. that's sad.. all the yellow dust. Air purifier sounds good =)
ReplyDeletefo shizzle! i am comparing air purifiers on gmarket. gmarket should carry warnings for people with epilepsy -- it's more disorienting than a strobe light. geh! but yes, air purifiers. to go with ion-whateverness, or not? so many options!
